A friend long ago told me she was 'turtling' after a sad world event and this cartoon is an expression of that need we sometimes need to honor our bodies' desire to rest, relax and rejuvenate as a way to cope with the realities of our lives. My career as a bodyworker has taught me this lesson over and over as I have sought to help my clients care for themselves.
